Turmeric extract

In the INCI it is indicated as Curcuma longa root powder. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Zingiberaceae family, which is spontaneously native to South Asia, from India to Malaysia. It is traditionally used both in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine for its ability to counteract inflammatory processes within the body.
