Lime extract

In the INCI it is indicated as Citrus aurantifolia (lime) fruit extract. Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) – also known as Key lime – is a small oval citrus fruit of the Rutaceae family, obtained from a 4-5 meter tall tree, grown mainly in Mexico, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. Known for its green color due to harvesting before full ripeness, lime has a high content of vitamin C and flavonoids, two first-class antioxidants that make it an extraordinary antiaging product. It is also used in the cosmetic industry for its calming, nourishing and illuminating properties.
