Cucumber extract

In the INCI it is indicated as Cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract. Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Cucurbitaceae family. Appreciated in the kitchen in summer, it is a real cure-all for the skin all year round, precisely by virtue of its characteristics. In fact, it boasts refreshing, soothing and astringent properties, and contains antioxidant substances that prevent the signs of aging. It provides a skin regenerating and lightening action on dark spots, and is able to stimulate microcirculation thanks to its contents of ascorbic acid and caffeic acid. As a real cure-all, it is also exceptional as a remedy against swelling.
