Blueberry extract

In the INCI it is indicated as Vaccinium myrtillus leaf extract. Blueberry is a tasty fruit boasting an intense fl avour, obtained from the botanical species Vaccinium myrtillus, which inhabits mountain areas and woods. It is very rich in anthocyanins – powerful antioxidants with a bright blue color – which make it a well known ingredient in the cosmetic world for its preventive action against skin aging. In addition, the strong presence of polyphenols allows the blueberry to perform a vasoprotective and normalizing action of the permeability and fragility of capillaries.
