The porcelain flower (Hoya lacunosa) belongs to the Asclepiadaceae family and is characterized by inflorescences with 10-30 flowers which, by virtue of their appearance are reminiscent of porcelain. Due to its characteristics, it is used in traditional Asian medicine, especially by the Indonesian and Malaysian peoples, who use it for the treatment of wounds and burns.
